Kim has been with me every step of the way since before the baby was born. She first provided an hour-long class on breastfeeding basics, then came to my house after getting home from the hospital to help my daughter latch, and has been a go-to resource for any concerns I've had along the way. My favorite part about working with Kim has been her accessibility via text and virtual appointments to help me through my constant slew of new-mom questions and concerns. Around two months, postpartum my baby wasn't eating and constipated. I was doing too much trying to give bottles, pump two-three times a day, and time myself while I was feeding her. Kim sensed the urgency with which I needed to meet with her for a virtual appointment and helped me see some of things I was doing wrong, but in a way that made me still feel empowered and motivated to continue with breastfeeding. The following week, after speaking with Kim, I actually began to enjoy breastfeeding and really relaxing with it; so much so, that I actually prefer breastfeeding to pumping now, and I zero ambivalence about feeding just about anywhere.
